Bandhani is also known as Bandhej. It is a tie and dye method practiced mainly in states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and parts of Uttar Pradesh. It features various designs ranging from floral to animal patterns.

Gota patti is a type of embroidery originated in Rajasthan. Elaborate patterns are created using applique technique in metallic colours like golden and silver.
